Alu-Twist Parasol: Rotating Comfort and Effortless Shade
The Alu-Twist centre-pole parasol from the Swiss brand Glatz® stands out as one of the most functional and clever solutions for medium-sized or rectangular outdoor spaces. Firstly, the great added value of this model lies in how simple it is to use. Thanks to the integration of a smooth crank handle and a rotating mechanism built into the pole, you can open the canopy and tilt it sideways smoothly and precisely. What's more, this advanced technology allows you to adjust the shade without needing to get up from your armchair or dining chair.
Robust Materials and Anodised Structure
On the other hand, durability and structural strength guide the technical development of this parasol. Thanks to its aluminium frame with a natural anodised finish, the piece offers complete protection against rust and salt-related wear. Likewise, the canopy is firmly supported by 6 ribs fitted with special tensioning fasteners that optimise stability against gusts of wind. Its rectangular 250×200 cm format fits perfectly with the most common outdoor dining tables on the market.
High-End Fabric with UPF50+ Protection
As a result, the fabric used by Glatz® makes all the difference in terms of health and wellbeing. The Class 2 polyester fabric (220g/m²) in Pale Grey blocks more than 98% of harmful UV radiation. Consequently, you can enjoy a cool, completely safe spot under the sun. The fabric also features dirt-repellent properties that make maintenance as simple as possible. In short, the Alu-Twist parasol brings together the most practical Swiss engineering, continuous comfort and a contemporary style perfect for your garden, available at De Tropen®.
