From De Tropen® we ship to mainland Spain and the Canary and Balearic Islands. Delivery in mainland Spain is free of charge for orders over 1500€. For shipments to the Balearic and Canary Islands you will have to contact our customer service as we have to check the costs with our logistics service providers in order to offer you the best price. In any case the expenses derived from the customs will be paid by the client. Hartman Iberica S.L. does not make shipments to Andorra and Gibraltar. The shipment of the articles is realized by means of a supplier of logistic services carefully selected. We aim to make the transport of your order as careful and practical as possible. A courier company (e.g. Correos express) will take care of the delivery of smaller items. Delivery by the courier service will always be made as soon as possible and without prior contact. Larger items will be delivered by a partner transport company. The transport is free of charge from 1500€ for any place in Spain (peninsula). The delivery of all items will be made at the curb closest to the point where the carrier can access with his vehicle. If you assemble the furniture yourself, we will provide you with detailed instructions. If you detect any defects or damage during assembly, please contact our customer service immediately.
Goods that are not suitable for shipment via parcel post will be collected at your expense by our carriers within 14 days. It is your responsibility to return goods properly prepared for transport by parcel post. Our customer service team is ready to assist you if you have any questions regarding returns.
The order will be delivered to the address specified by you. This may be different from the address on the invoice, allowing you to request delivery to your office or to a friend. Sometimes delivery companies such as express couriers request that packages be picked up at the local post office closest to the delivery location, whether or not they have made a delivery attempt.
If we have the product in stock, shipping will normally take 3 to 6 days after payment is registered. Unfortunately, it is not possible to give an exact delivery date in advance. We will ask you to provide us with your telephone number when you place your order, so that our logistics service providers can contact you prior to delivery to arrange a suitable time for delivery. Smaller items, which are delivered by a parcel delivery service, will be shipped without prior notice. If you are not at home, the courier company will leave you a business card with a telephone number where you can arrange a suitable date for a new delivery free of charge.
Collection by the customer
Customer pick-up is possible at our De Tropen® store located in Velez-Malaga. Autovía del Mediterráneo A7, exit 953, entrance behind the Repsol gas station, Vélez-Málaga.
If you don’t love the item or if you prefer another one, don’t worry, you have 14 days to return or exchange it. You only have to bring us your item along with the receipt or invoice of the purchase. It is essential to keep the original packaging in order to keep the item properly protected during transport. At De Tropen® you can change your mind!
DEFECTIVE OR DAMAGED PRODUCTS IN TRANSIT
When you receive the goods, it is very important that you check the package and note any anomalies (bumps or scratches) on the carrier’s delivery note. In this case, we also need some graphic evidence (photograph or video) of the anomaly.
In any case, you have 24 hours to check the goods for any damage to the shipped items.
In case that some article arrives damaged contact with us as soon as possible to begin with the process of claim of the damaged merchandise. In this case Hartman Iberica S.L. will proceed, as it corresponds and depending on the conditions of the product, responding itself or through the supplier/distributor/manufacturer, to the repair, substitution, reduction of the price or resolution of the contract, managements that will be free for the consumer and user.
RETURN OF PRODUCTS
In the event that the return or exchange is unrelated to a defect or error in the product, we accept returns within the first 14 calendar days from the date of receipt, provided that the conditions regulated by Law 3/2014 of 27 March, Article 71 of trade management which indicates that the product must be returned in the same condition it arrived and not have been used (provided it does not go beyond the mere verification of good condition). In case of not conserving the original packing Hartman Iberica S.L. will not accept the return as it will not be able to put the article back to the sale.
To process the return, the client must communicate his decision to Hartman Iberica S.L., by means of an e-mail to: firstname.lastname@example.org, identifying in the subject “Return”, and indicating in the mail his intention to return the product and the number of order. Next the client will have to send the physical product to the direction of Hartman Iberica S.L., indicating the number of order, and running of his account the expenses of the above mentioned return. The returned product will have to be in perfect conditions and in its original packing, with all its manuals and accessories. The customer will be responsible for any damage suffered by the product during transport. The reimbursement of the value of the merchandise will be realized once we verify in our warehouse the good state of the same one.
Hartman Iberica S.L. will have to realize refund of the amount, as it indicates the Law 3/2014 of 27 of March, of arrangement of trade article 107, without undue delay and, in any case, before 14 calendar days have elapsed from the date in which the goods have been returned. The refund of the money is to be made by the same means of payment used for the initial transaction.
If the return is due to the fact that the product received is not the one ordered, a return or exchange can be made within the first 30 calendar days from the date of receipt. However, it should be communicated as soon as possible in order to process the exchange for the correct product. The customer is not required to pay return shipping costs.
PRODUCTS WITH INCORRECT/INCOMPLETE INFORMATION
In the event that the return is due to the fact that the product received does not conform to the information indicated on the website, a return or exchange can be made within the first 30 calendar days from the date of receipt. However, it must be communicated as soon as possible in order to process it. The customer does not have to pay return costs.
THE CUSTOMER REJECTS THE ORDER
In case the client rejects the goods, Hartman Iberica S.L. will proceed to the return of the total amount of the products discounting the expenses of transport caused by the sending and the return of the order.
Hartman Iberica S.L. will retain in his warehouses and will reserve the right to pay the amount of those orders that for breach of the conditions above described, being for change or return, cannot be put again to the sale. The customer will have the right to recover his order by paying the shipping costs, either by his personal courier or through our courier (paying the costs).
In the case of orders out of stock that are realized under express request of the client the possibility of return of the product will not exist.
Hartman Iberica S.L. is committed to protect your privacy and assumes with the maximum rigor its responsibility with respect to the security of the information of its clients. Our privacy statement details what information we collect, how we collect it, what we do with it and how we protect that information. All personal data is collected and processed in accordance with Spanish and EU data protection laws. The customer must provide the original packaging with which the item was delivered, so that the product is adequately protected during transport. Our carriers will pick up products not suitable for shipping by postal service, within 14 days from the date of confirmation of the product packaging.

Packaging and inquiries
Some large volume products are delivered directly from the manufacturer to the consumer on disposable pallets. Disposable pallets, such as cartons and other packaging materials, must be picked up by the customer and at the customer’s cost. Transportation companies only pick up multi-purpose pallets.
