All our products are new and are delivered in their original packaging. Our entire product range comes with a manufacturer’s warranty of up to 20 years, depending on the product. For any claim, your invoice is your warranty document. Please print and keep the document so that you can use it whenever you need it. The buyer must inspect the goods at the time of delivery. Any defects must be reported immediately in writing. All new orders are covered by a warranty from 2 to 20 years. Under the warranty, the buyer is entitled to have the product repaired if the manufacturer does not replace the furniture in question with a new one. Differences in color, irregularities in the texture of the wood and so-called hairline cracks are natural and must be accepted by the buyer.
Because we are an online company and you, as a customer, do not have the option to view the furniture in store or showroom before purchasing, you are entitled to return any of our products. You have 14 days to return any of the items you have purchased online unconditionally. If you are not satisfied, you may return the furniture without justification or explanation. The original packaging must be kept. You will be asked to return small items in person by a parcel delivery company. In the case of larger items, collection of the products may be arranged with a transport company. The buyer shall bear the cost of returning the items. It is essential to have the original boxes to request the return.
DEFECTIVE OR DAMAGED PRODUCTS IN TRANSIT
When you receive the goods, it is very important that you check the package and note any anomalies (bumps or scratches) on the carrier’s delivery note. In this case, we also need some graphic evidence (photograph or video) of the anomaly.
In any case, you have 24 hours to check the goods for any damage to the shipped items.
If an item arrives damaged, please contact us as soon as possible to begin the process of replacing the damaged goods. In this case De Tropen® will proceed, as appropriate and depending on the condition of the product, responding itself or through the supplier/distributor/manufacturer, to repair, replacement, price reduction or termination of the contract, which will be free of charge for the consumer and user.
