The Broil King Royal 340 barbecue has been upgraded, with a new black design and a new, sturdier steel stand. Apart from these improvements, the essence of the Royal 340 remains the same. You can tell it has been designed with quality and usefulness in small spaces in mind, which is why it's a great alternative to more expensive barbecues. Besides the side burner, it features 3 main stainless steel burners, which provide even heat distribution, warming the cast iron surface and the additional warming rack. All this provides a cooking area of 58 x 38 cm, making it possible to create an indirect fire for grilling fish, for example.
The cast iron grates are reversible, giving the meat great sear marks. And when the juices and fat drip onto the Flav-R-Wave system, the resulting smoke returns to the meat, giving it an even smokier flavour. Its automatic one-button ignition system and precise thermometer for reading the temperature are certainly very practical. Its compact design doesn't lack for detail: two folding chrome-plated steel side tables, which are very stable in the horizontal position; a sturdy, enclosed aluminium cart; and 2 robust wheels plus two castor wheels that make it easy to move from one place to another.
