Alu Smart Parasol: Smart Shade and Tailored Comfort
The square Alu Smart parasol by the Swiss firm Glatz® is designed to adapt dynamically to the needs of your outdoor space. First of all, its ergonomic design effectively solves the usual problems related to sunlight exposure throughout the day. Furthermore, thanks to its integrated tilting mechanism, the parasol canopy can smoothly tilt up to 32° to the left or right. Therefore, with a simple flick of the wrist, you ensure continuous protection without needing to move the heavy structure from its original spot.
Premium Materials and Reinforced Structure
On the other hand, the technical excellence of this parasol is directly reflected in the materiality of its high-end components. Thanks to its anodised aluminium frame reinforced with a 8-rib system, the piece offers outstanding structural stability under the sun. Likewise, the mast withstands everyday weather conditions and corrosion with complete resilience. Indeed, the push-up opening mechanism makes it easy to open or close the canopy in a matter of seconds without any physical strain.
Advanced Sun Protection with Swiss Certification
Similarly, the Class 2 polyester fabric (220g/m²) makes all the difference by incorporating a water-repellent treatment and a certified UPF50+ rating. As a result, this canopy blocks more than 98% of harmful UV rays and autonomously repels dirt stains. However, its optimal performance does not compromise its clean aesthetic, available in elegant neutral tones such as Ash, Off White or Pale Grey. In summary, the Alu Smart by Glatz® is synonymous with durable Swiss engineering, maximum liveability and distinction, now available with full warranty at De Tropen®.
