Teak is a natural wood that does not absorb water and is rich in natural oils. In humid conditions, teak can release a little reddish oil, which can cause stains on the surface. These stains are part of the natural maturing process and can be removed with a gentle wash using the Teak Cleaner. This teak oil can in turn cause stains on cushions, and this will be especially visible on light colours. Fabric stained with teak oil can be cleaned with the Teak Oil Cleaner by 4 Seasons Outdoor. Please note that the migration of oil to the surface is a naturally recurring process that cannot be prevented.
- Spray: Shake the container well before use. Spray the cleaner directly onto the stain on the fabric and leave it to work for a few minutes.
- Clean: Gently rub the surface with a cloth. Then wash with water and a mild soap.
- Rinse: Rinse thoroughly with plenty of water.
- Leave to dry: in the open air and in the shade.
