Biohort products come with a 20-year manufacturer's warranty, subject to their warranty terms and conditions. This warranty covers, among other things, corrosion perforation of sheet metal parts and certain manufacturing defects. The warranty is subject to proper assembly, use, and maintenance. Locations within 5 km (3 miles) of the coastline are excluded from the corrosion warranty due to exposure to salt and sand.

The Biohort® 160 Tall Leisure Chest also features a convenient gas spring lid opening. It also has a cylinder lock with a handle and a double locking mechanism to prevent tampering. A spare key is included.
