Trena is a seating collection that reflects the Mediterranean spirit and radiates freshness. Inspired by the traditional reed-woven wooden armchairs that remind us of the times when we would sit in our grandparents’ village house on cool summer evenings. We have paid homage to these armchairs by using a completely modern material and process: Polypropylene reinforced with glass fibres by gas injection. In this way, we combine current advantages, such as durability, sustainability and new aesthetics, with the comfort and simplicity of the past. With an enveloping backrest and a characteristic weave on the seat that make the Trena series unique and timeless. It includes anti-slip pads, UV protection, is stackable and 100% recyclable. Suitable for outdoor and indoor use, both domestic and public, very easy to wash and disinfect. This is a comfortable and original armchair that you can also combine with the chair and stool from the same series. The Trena collection is designed by Yonoh Creative Studio, founded in 2006 by Clara del Portillo and Alex Selma in Valencia, both of them have a great creative curiosity and work in product design and interior decoration. This product design from the Trena series has received the following awards: ADCV PLATA, Awards from the Association of Designers of the Valencian Community and the IF Design Awards, which recognise innovation and excellence.
