1. Permeable or Waterproof Sail?
- Permeable (HDPE): Its micro-perforated fabric allows hot air to rise and escape, reducing the temperature underneath by up to 10°C. Furthermore, they avoid the "sail effect" during wind gusts.
- Waterproof (Polyester/PVC): Ideal if you are also looking to protect yourself from light rain. They require installation with a greater slope to prevent the accumulation of water pockets.
