Basic maintenance:
- Stainless steel is a very durable material, but it can easily stain and become marked. To prevent this, it’s important not to let dirt accumulate and polish it regularly with a microfiber cloth or sponge dampened with warm, soapy water.
- It’s also always recommended to use a cover to protect it from corrosion caused by rain and moisture, as well as UV rays.
Maintenance instructions:
- Pyrolysis at 500°C for 2-3 minutes.
- Wait for the oven to cool and remove residue from the floor with a brush and a damp cloth.
- Clean the exterior with a soft cloth dampened with soap and water or, failing that, with baking soda and liquid detergent. Wipe gently with the oven off and cold.
IMPORTANT: Always check the certification of the product used and that the components correspond to those declared.
CAUTION: Steels subjected to high temperatures and direct flames may change color. This is not a problem; this is an intrinsic characteristic of the material. - Alfa ovens are made of stainless steel inside and out. To clean these surfaces, we recommend a product suitable for this type of material. Never use cleaners containing acid, xylene, or turpentine. Rinse well after cleaning the oven.
- To better protect stainless steel parts, it is recommended to use petroleum jelly or other neutral cleaning solutions (pH 7) that do not contain acids, mineral resin, or xylene. If installed in coastal locations, to prevent corrosion and scale formation, it is recommended to clean the oven frequently with fresh water.
- The gas burner should be cleaned by periodically removing cooking residue with a brush. When cleaning, be careful not to damage the burner orifices.
- Clean the nozzles at least once a year to prevent them from clogging and restricting gas flow (contact qualified personnel).
- Stainless steel resists rust, but may occasionally show rust spots on its surface due to humidity, sea salt, etc. In this case, treat with a rust remover to restore the oven’s appearance to new condition.
- It is recommended to use a cover to protect it from corrosion caused by rain and humidity, as well as UV rays.
